The top penthouse of the historic Holley Mason had been previously gutted, and we were hired on to build out the new tenant space for Gravity Jack. We really embraced the modern style of rustic bare-bones interior, leaving the brick walls, pipes, and concrete floor exposed. The brick wall was sand blasted, the ceiling was painted black, and the concrete floor was sealed and polished, but the intended design was certainly preserved. We also added a few reclaimed wall features to the black wood walls (not pictured) to help the design scheme pop. The newly partitioned offices were provided with interior window walls, new carpet tile, and old-fashioned exterior windows from the old schoolhouse. The final touch for the space was a brand new kitchenette we built. It really is a hip and slick space!
